I live on the beautiful island of Nantucket with my husband Kyle, our daughter Claire and our dog Bailey.

First and foremost, thank you for stopping by to find out more about me and my love for photography. 

It was not until we moved to Nantucket in 2010 that I started photographing. Back then, it was mostly because it was a way for me to share where I was living back with my family and friends in Germany. But it developed into something more, something very joyful and fulfilling. 

In 2011, the year before our daughter was born, my husband gifted me my first Nikon for Christmas. Filled with excitement and a whole new perspective, I primarily captured our daughter's milestones and any moments in between. 

When I started working at Nantucket Lighthouse School (NLS) in 2014, I received the opportunity to capture the life at NLS through images. First for social media purposes, and later on for graphic design work. Little did I know that this opportunity would allow me to develop a natural level of comfort around children and adults alike.

My style of photography is best described in two words: clean + natural. But the ultimately goal of my work is to create beautiful photographs that capture the moment and bring you joy for years to come.
